These terms apply to your use of Aurabill: Subscription Tracker (“Aurabill”, “the app”) and aurabill.app, provided by Acom Digital GmbH (“we”, “us”), a company registered in Switzerland. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Purchases are subject to the offer shown before you confirm and the Apple terms applicable to your storefront.
The short version
Your subscription records are stored on your iPhone. Aurabill downloads shared catalog, guide and exchange-rate updates, but does not upload your records or imported screenshots to us. It helps you find cancellation and refund routes; it does not complete them for you. Plus is optional, App Store purchases use Apple’s payment system, and your mandatory consumer rights remain in place.
1. The app license
Aurabill’s App Store license is granted by Acom Digital GmbH, the app provider, under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Apple operates the store; we are responsible for support for Aurabill.
The EULA governs the app license, including its usage rules and legal exceptions. These terms explain Aurabill’s features and services and do not replace that license. Apple’s store and purchase rules are set out in the Apple Media Services Terms for your country or region. Nothing here overrides rights that the law does not allow to be excluded.
2. What Aurabill is
Aurabill is an informational and organizational tool. You can enter subscriptions manually or import selected screenshots of your Apple subscriptions list, a bank transaction or a service’s billing page. Text recognition runs on your device. Review the service, amount, currency, billing cycle, date and payment provider before saving. A bank charge alone does not establish that a payment recurs.
The app calculates spending estimates, displays a renewal calendar and schedules local reminders from your records. It offers links to Apple’s subscription settings, merchant cancellation or help pages, and guides where available. Plus also includes refund guidance. You take the final action with Apple or the merchant.
The shared catalog, guides, import dictionaries and exchange rates need an internet connection for their first download and later updates. Downloaded content remains available offline. Manual entry and management remain available without those downloads; amounts can be shown in their original currencies when rates are unavailable. Catalog and rate updates are separate, and Settings shows their download status and dates.
Reminders depend on the dates you enter, notification permission and iOS delivery settings. Keep another record of important deadlines; a reminder is not a guarantee that a charge will be avoided.
3. What Aurabill is not
- Aurabill does not cancel subscriptions for you. It shows you where to cancel and opens the page. The cancellation itself is an action you take, with Apple or with the merchant.
- Aurabill does not contact merchants on your behalf. Any call, message or request is yours to review and make.
- Aurabill does not connect to your bank, card, or any financial account. Importing a screenshot reads an image you choose; it does not give the app access to that account.
- Aurabill does not negotiate bills or claim to lower what you pay.
- Aurabill is not financial, tax, or legal advice. Totals and savings are estimates calculated from your records and, when needed, the available downloaded exchange rates. They are not bank conversion quotes and may differ from actual charges, taxes or fees.
- Aurabill is not a system of record. It is a convenience view of information you supplied. Your bank statements, your Apple purchase history and the merchants themselves are authoritative. Aurabill is not.
4. Cancellation information is best-effort
Service prices, links, cancellation steps, refund notes and estimates of time or difficulty can change. The correct route may depend on your country, plan, contract and the company that bills you. Check the provider’s current terms and confirmation screens, especially for notice periods, fees, refunds and the end of access.
Guide verification dates describe when the steps were last checked; a download date is not a verification date. A guide marked unverified is a draft, not a checked cancellation procedure. At this revision, the cancellation guides are still awaiting verification. An older guide or cached snapshot may no longer match the provider’s process.
You are responsible for confirming that a cancellation actually happened. Check for a confirmation email, check your Apple subscriptions list, check your next statement. Aurabill marking something as cancelled is a note you made in your own tracker, not proof that the merchant stopped billing you.
If a link or step is wrong, contact hello@aurabill.app with the service and the affected instruction. Avoid including account credentials or payment details.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
The free version allows up to 5 active or trial subscriptions and includes reminders, spending totals, access to your Apple subscriptions list, and available direct cancellation links. Cancelled records do not count toward that limit. Aurabill Plus removes the limit and unlocks the Plus features shown in the app, currently the available cancellation guide steps, the refund assistant, price-change alerts, the Home Screen widget, spending insights and bank statement import. Review the features and offer shown in the app before buying.
5.1 The two ways to buy

Availability, currency, price, taxes and any offer depend on your App Store storefront. The purchase screen shows the applicable price and billing period before you confirm. The app obtains these prices from Apple; a price shown elsewhere on this website does not replace the purchase offer.
5.2 Auto-renewing subscription terms
For the yearly plan:
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Apple may charge for renewal during the 24 hours before the period ends. Price changes follow Apple’s notice and consent requirements for your storefront.
- Open Settings → Aurabill Plus → Cancel Aurabill Plus in the app to open Apple’s management screen, or use your Apple subscriptions list. Complete the cancellation there. See Apple’s cancellation instructions if you cannot find the subscription.
- Cancellation normally stops the next renewal and leaves Plus available until the paid period ends. Refunds and any right to end access sooner depend on Apple’s process and applicable law; cancellation alone does not automatically request a refund.
- Any introductory offer, if available, will show its duration, eligibility and subsequent price before you accept it.
5.3 Lifetime purchase
The lifetime option is a one-time, non-expiring Plus unlock associated with your Apple Account. It has no recurring charge or renewal to cancel. App compatibility, store availability and online content still depend on the relevant services and supported devices; the purchase does not promise perpetual hosting or support, or include separate future products. This does not remove rights you have if paid features are withdrawn or do not match the offer.
5.4 Family Sharing
Aurabill supports access to eligible Plus purchases shared by Apple. Check the App Store offer and your sharing settings for availability. Access depends on Apple’s Family Sharing rules and may end when a purchase is no longer shared or you leave the family group. Sharing Plus does not share anyone’s subscription records.
5.5 Restoring a purchase
Use Restore purchases on the upgrade screen or in Settings when the app shows the free plan. The app asks Apple to restore eligible access for your Apple Account, including eligible shared purchases. An internet connection may be needed. Restoring Plus does not restore your local subscription records.
If Plus expires or Apple revokes access, your existing subscription records remain available. You can continue to view and manage them. Adding or reactivating an active or trial subscription requires a free slot below the five-record limit or a new Plus entitlement; guide steps, the refund assistant, price-change alerts, the Home Screen widget, spending insights and bank statement import require Plus.
5.6 Refunds are handled by Apple
App Store payments and refund requests use Apple’s system. We do not receive your card details or have an in-app mechanism to reverse a charge.
When the app recognizes your Plus purchase, open Settings → Aurabill Plus → Request a refund for Aurabill Plus to start Apple’s request flow. You can also use Report a Problem. Apple assesses eligibility under the rules for your country or region and decides whether to approve the request. See Apple’s refund instructions.
Requesting a refund and cancelling renewal are separate actions. An approved refund may remove Plus access. Your statutory remedies, including any applicable right of withdrawal, remain available. Contact hello@aurabill.app for an app problem or a claim concerning our service.
6. Third-party services and trademarks
Aurabill mentions the names of streaming services, gyms, software vendors and other subscription businesses so you can recognize your own subscriptions. Those names and marks belong to their owners. We use them nominatively, which means only to identify the service being referred to.
No affiliation, sponsorship, partnership or endorsement is claimed or implied, in either direction. Apple is a trademark of Apple Inc. Service logos are displayed to help identify their respective services and remain the property of their owners.
External links can open your browser, Apple’s settings or another app. The destination provider’s terms and privacy policy apply there. We do not control its availability or the outcome of a cancellation or refund request.
7. Acceptable use
Use Aurabill lawfully with records and screenshots you are entitled to use. Do not:
- break, bypass or tamper with the app, including its purchase checks;
- decompile or reverse-engineer the app, except where applicable law or an applicable open-source license permits it;
- redistribute, resell, rent or sublicense the app or its downloaded content except as permitted by the applicable license and Apple’s usage rules;
- scrape or bulk-extract the service catalog, cancellation information or other downloaded content for a competing product;
- use the app to break the law or another person’s rights.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its source code, design, wordmark, icon, and the content we wrote and distribute for it, including the service catalog and any cancellation guidance, are ours or our licensors’, and are protected by copyright and other laws. These terms give you the license described in section 1 and nothing more.
You retain your rights in your own records. We do not claim ownership of the subscriptions, notes or categories you enter. The app does not upload these records to us. If you choose to send information to support, it is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Your records and backups
Aurabill has no separate user account or app-managed cloud sync. Subscription records, settings and resumable import drafts are stored locally. Shared content downloads do not send us that information. Device backups may include app data under your Apple backup settings; see the Privacy Policy.
You can edit or delete subscription records in the app. Removing a record only changes the tracker; it does not cancel the underlying service. Deleting the app or losing the device without a usable backup can lose your records. We cannot restore records from our servers because we do not hold a copy. Keep backups or another record of information you need.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The warranty provisions in the applicable EULA apply to the app to the extent permitted by law. The practical limits on imports, reminders, estimates and third-party information are described above. These terms do not exclude mandatory guarantees, conformity requirements or remedies for a defective service.
11. Limitation of liability
Responsibility for claims concerning the app is determined by the applicable EULA and law. These terms add no separate monetary cap or exclusion. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or other conduct for which mandatory law requires responsibility.
12. Misuse and claims
You remain responsible under applicable law for your unlawful use of the app or infringement of another person’s rights. These terms do not require consumers to provide a blanket indemnity or pay our costs merely because a claim is made.
13. Termination
You may stop using Aurabill at any time. Deleting the app does not cancel an active yearly Plus subscription. Cancel through Apple as described in section 5.2 and preserve any records you need before deletion.
The app license can end as provided in the EULA and applicable law. If we discontinue the app or a material paid service, we will give notice on this website and in the app where possible and honor any notice, access or remedy obligations required by law. Ending use does not remove rights or liabilities that arose beforehand.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect product, operational or legal changes. We will date the new version, explain material changes and give advance notice where required. Where your consent is required, we will ask for it. An update does not retrospectively remove rights from an existing purchase. Contact us if a change affects paid access; Apple’s refund process and your statutory remedies remain available.
15. Severability
If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, that part is limited or removed to the minimum extent needed, and the rest stays in force.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law, subject to any mandatory protections that apply in your country of residence. The app license and Apple purchases also remain subject to the applicable Apple agreements. These terms do not require arbitration, waive collective remedies or impose an exclusive court. The courts with jurisdiction are determined by applicable law, including any right you have as a consumer to bring a claim where you live.
